Every cup tells a story.

Froth Coffee Bar started with a simple idea: a coffee shop should feel like a place you actually want to be — not somewhere you just pass through. After spending time in places that felt rushed, loud, and transactional, it became clear something was missing. Coffee had become fast, efficient, and convenient — but it had lost the part that made it meaningful. The pause. The conversation. The feeling of a place to land.

Froth was created to bring that back. We opened our first shop in 2020, and in 2022 we put down permanent roots in Denton — in the front retail of EPOCH on Eagle Drive, directly across from the University of North Texas. This is home.

We built this space with intention — from the way it looks to the way it feels when you walk in. Light, open, and welcoming, but still grounded. A place where you can grab a quick espresso on your way out, or stay longer without feeling like you need to be in a rush.

At its core, Froth is about balance: quality without pretense, design without discomfort, and a place that works just as well for a quiet morning as it does for meeting someone new or catching up with friends. Lounge seating, a mezzanine, communal tables, outlets where you actually need them, free Wi-Fi, and free parking in the back — all of it designed to hold whatever your day looks like.

While great coffee is the foundation, it's not the only thing that matters. Every detail — from the menu to the atmosphere — is designed to feel thoughtful and consistent. Simple, well-made drinks. Clean ingredients. An environment that feels considered, but never forced.

That's why the dessert side matters so much to us — it's literally in our name. Pastry-chef-inspired sweets made from scratch in small batches, plus the cult-following breakfast burritos people set their alarms for. We believe people notice the difference, even if they can't always explain it.

Froth Coffee Bar is proud to be part of the Denton community. Whether you're a UNT student, a local, or just passing through, our goal is to create a space that feels accessible, familiar, and easy to return to — somewhere that becomes part of your routine without you needing to think about it.

Being part of Denton means showing up for Denton. We host hundreds of fundraisers a year for local schools, sororities, churches, and 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and our baristas are trained to actually look up, ask your name, and remember your order.
